1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Death Clock (death-clock.app), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Not Medical Advice

Death Clock is for educational and motivational purposes only. Our life expectancy estimates are based on statistical averages from published research and actuarial data. They are NOT medical diagnoses, predictions, or professional health advice. Individual results vary significantly. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

While our calculations are based on peer-reviewed studies involving 53+ million participants, no algorithm can accurately predict an individual's lifespan. Many factors (genetics, accidents, medical breakthroughs) are inherently unpredictable. Our estimates should be treated as general guidance, not certainty.

4. Account and Subscriptions

Free accounts provide limited features. Premium subscriptions are billed via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Refunds follow Stripe's standard policies. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after 14 days.

5. Affiliate Disclosures

Death Clock participates in affiliate programs. When you click product recommendations and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. All affiliate relationships are clearly disclosed per FTC guidelines. We only recommend products we believe can positively impact health and longevity.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create (bucket list items, goals). We do not share your personal content with other users unless you explicitly opt in to social features.

7. Virtual Currency (Coins)

Death Clock uses a virtual currency system ("coins") for in-app gamification. Coins are earned through completing daily health tasks, maintaining streaks, winning challenges, and referrals. Coins can only be redeemed for in-app rewards, partner offers, ghost cosmetics, and charitable donations. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real currency, and are non-transferable outside the platform. We reserve the right to modify coin values and reward availability at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

Death Clock and its creators shall not be liable for any psychological distress, health decisions, or other consequences arising from the use of our life expectancy estimates. Use of this service is at your own risk.
